I’ve been working at EZPawn for about two months now. The pay is good, the job is relatively easy, the co-workers are awesome…but the thing is… the customers are insane. At first I thought I just kept getting the crazy ones. No. They’re ALL crazy. From the vaccuum couple (who will be the topic of my next post) to the Chinese man who only seems to know the phrase “make me good deal”, almost every one of them has some bizarre tic.
That said, I love my job. It’s very interesting, and I get to meet lots of new people. I even have my own personal “customer”. :3 Customers tend to have one pawn broker or another that they prefer to work with. I’m proud to have my own customer, all to myself. Although I won’t be a certified Pawn Broker for another month.
I initially started working at EZPawn because…well…they were the only ones to call me back. I applied all over the city, and only got one call back. I hate our current economy, as it makes job getting hard. On the other hand, the Pawn business is booming. Still hate the economy, since I don’t make commission or anything. 
Speaking of, I need to head to work. I’ll try to post about the most memorable customers so far in the next few days.
